3. Customer Obligations and Requirements

In accordance with the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act (PCMLTFA), all customers must provide valid government-issued identification for transactions. Required documents include:

3.2 Transaction Limits

Customers must be able to provide information about the source of funds for currency exchange transactions. We reserve the right to request additional documentation regarding the source of funds.

4. Transaction Terms

4.1 Exchange Rates

Exchange rates are determined by HK Royal and may fluctuate based on market conditions. Rates are quoted at the time of transaction and are subject to change without notice.

4.2 Fees and Charges

All applicable fees and charges will be disclosed to customers before completing any transaction. Fees may include service charges, handling fees, and other applicable costs.

4.3 Transaction Completion

All transactions are final once completed. Customers will receive a receipt documenting the transaction details including exchange rate, amounts, fees, and transaction reference number.

5. Compliance and Legal Requirements

5.1 Anti-Money Laundering (AML)

HK Royal is committed to preventing money laundering and terrorist financing. We maintain comprehensive AML policies and procedures in compliance with Canadian federal regulations.

5.2 Suspicious Transaction Reporting

We are required by law to report suspicious transactions to FINTRAC. We may refuse service or freeze transactions if we suspect illegal activity or non-compliance with regulations.
